Scammer Alert: Fake Employee

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

CHAILEASE BERJAYA FINANCE CORPORATION (CBFC) has received information that certain unscrupulous individuals or “scam groups” have been impersonating to be employees of CBFC in online group chats. These people have also been misusing our company's trademark and trade name and have been known to show falsified corporate documents purporting to have been issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Trade and Industry to CBFC.

One such individual goes by the name of “MARIKIT RIZALINA” whose fictitious CBFC ID is shown above. This fraudster’s modus operandi is to lure interested loan applicants and falsely represent to them that their loan applications have been approved. This person would then instruct victims to make cash deposits to designated bank or e-wallet accounts for the facilitation of their purported loan application with CBFC. Such individuals even encourage people to visit our company for cash loans to gain their trust and provide a semblance of security.

The general public is hereby warned against dealing with these individuals claiming to be connected with CBFC either by presenting fake identification cards, calling cards and other identifications, including the use of CBFC official logos, application forms, corporate documents which they use for their criminal operations.

Any transactions with them shall be at your own risk and will NOT be honored by CBFC.

We urge all customers and the public in general not to trust or respond to suspicious messages. If you encounter any situation where CBFC's name is being misused, please immediately verify with CBFC through the following contact information:
